"Yes I am..." picture post

Okay, so since I'm a bit busy(I'll be doing a post on my trip to Branson over the weekend), I thought I'd post a little image this. Oh and also, I'm adding a new page to my blog(and on the Star Wars and other fandom ones, I have new pictures/giffs!)
And before we start, I'd like to say, I have secured an editor for my book series!! :D

I'm, of course, a girl, but I really like this one. It makes me very happy since feminist guys are totally awesome :D.

One misconception about homeschoolers that gets on my nerves is that we have it easy compared to public schoolers. I find it insulting since we're doing the same things- work.

Yep :) I'm a member of the Christian Left

This is something I find VERY important that people know. Yes, there are a few that do hate men(it's called misandry and is basically the flip-side of a misogynist) but most of us feminists don't hate men- in fact, we like the majority of them. We just want everyone to be equal :)

                                                              YES! That's me :)

I know most Christians don't hate on Harry Potter(most Christians I know like it) but quite a few people think that.

                                                                          Yep :)

Totally! It gets pretty annoying sometimes because people are always going "I'm going to be Forever Along!" when they most likely won't be. Just buy candy, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy yourself :).

                                                                Definitely

                                                     Too true(though I do hate having it :( )

This is definitely true for me. And anyway, I don't think I actually could rush into one- I wouldn't get into a relationship unless I really liked the person.

Aren't we all? :) (It was pretty funny since everyone, on all sides of the political spectrum, were against this being passed)

  1. I'm really glad you posted this! Many Christians I know don't like harry potter and it bothers me. C'mon... there is no ignorance, there is knowledge.
I like someone- but I don't have the guts to ask him or tell my friends, and I doubt he would notice me since I'm just a geek girl and there's other popular girls at school... but anyway, I'm too young. I totally agree with that one. I'm not gonna rush into one.
Gay marriage. It's a right everyone should have. I don't exactly know what's in the bible.. but as you said, you don't have to agree with everything the bible says and not be religious.

    1. You're welcome! :D Yeah, I know quite a few that don't- I think you'd like my church since a lot of the kids there love Harry Potter :D.
I'm sorry about that :( I know the feeling. But yes, Id say you're probably too young to get into a relationship just yet. I'm seventeen and I still don't feel all that ready yet.
I agree, it's a right everyone has. :) Well, it says something in the Bible but really, if you talk to Theologians, it's actually putting a man trying to hurt another man in a bad way instead of Gay marriage but people just take it the wrong way(I'm not entirely sure, but that's what I've heard second hand; I'll have to ask my Pastor- she supports Gay marriage too :D).
      Thanks :)

  2. Congratulations on getting an editor!!!
Cool picture post! I get very upset when people assume I'm a man-hater because I'm a feminist.

Thank you :) I agree, I don't like it when that happens either. It makes me really angry

  3. Ooh! I hope you've got a good editor! ;)
I often get walked over by popular snobs because I'm so quiet, considered a freak, and a little too nice at school (I just got walked over again TODAY). I'd probably give them the cold shoulder for a few days and throw back the work they gave me. I'm tired of getting blamed all the time for teeny-tiny mistakes in so-called group works. It's time to get a little revenge and let them do some hard work.

I normally keep an nice girl 'mask' on and strike them from behind, but I think I need to get more frontal. I wish I could use the Force to make them do something stupid, but that's just too petty. I don't want to become a petty person like those attention whores (most popular kids here = attention whores = often unbelievably cruel).

*I hate, hate, HATE my class. It seriously sucks (rowdiest, most unwelcome). Sometimes I wish I was homeschooled instead.

I'm so sorry you have to deal with that little brat! :( I hope you can get your revenge soon.
I wish you could use the Force too *you want to go home and re-think your life* and that sort of thing.
I'm sorry you have such an annoying class- I wish you could be homeschooled too.

    1. Just curious, but how can a person support abortions?
Doesn't life begin at conception? Isn't each life created by God?

    2. Okay, this is how people who are pro-choice believe: The first thing to know is that no one likes the idea of abortion. In a perfect world, we wouldn't need it. But sadly, our world is flawed and things are a whole lot more complicated. Abortions are vitally needed in some situations, especially if the woman who is pregnant will die if she doesn't have one- and in my opinion, it is the right and Christian thing to do to at least save one life instead of letting both people die(and the already alive person has the right to live since they have people who care about them and a life to live). Also, abortions are needed if the woman or girl is raped by a person; people who go through such a disgusting act will most definitely not want to carry their assaulter's child and it is wrong to make a woman or girl who has been through such a traumatic experience do that. Another thing to remember is that no matter what, even if you make them illegal, abortions will still happen but unlike now, they will not be safe and many woman will die. Making abortion legal actually makes things safer and less people will die because of it. One more thing- abortions have a limit. You cannot abort the fetus, unless the woman's life is in danger, after a certain amount of time and at that point, it is a tiny little speck of cells. If people were taught about contraceptives and knew where to purchase them, many accidental pregnancies could be avoided. And really, it all comes down to the fact that a woman's body and what she does with it is her business and her's alone- no one has the right to tell her what she can or cannot do. And as a citizen of the U.S.A and as a fellow human being, people need to respect that. It is all right to be against abortion, since that is your right, but it is important to realize that not everyone believes life begins at conception and not everyone believes that the fetus is more important than the mother. I respect your opinion and I ask that your respect mine.
Hope this helps. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
