The main character
Female side-character
Male side-character
(this gif shows very much how I view this character)
An estimate on what the character is going to look like- he's going to have a South Eastern Asian look, will be close to my age, and between 5'0 and 5'2
Villains(brother and sister) (little kids, older kids, and adults)
another female side-character (who will be an alien/humanoid of sorts).
Main character's brother (one of them; also, her only older sibling)
Villain's older sister (and high ranking officer in the 'good guy' army)
leader of the good guy army
main character's sister(one of them)
main characters parents
villain's childhood friend
some other characters who I have ideas for
One of the 'good guy' officers in the army
a member of the bad guy army(who doesn't want to be there- is only there because his family made him) who becomes important later in the series.
Another high ranking officer in the good guy army who will be an important character in the second series.
(I'll add more as the books start coming out)
It's really cool to see them all laid out like this! I like the look of the female side character and the villain's childhood friend - don't think I've seen these pictures of them before. BUT ROLAND HOOD oh man he would be so painfully adorable in that part I can't.
ReplyDeleteThank you, glad you like it!! :D I agree, I really like Dakota Blue Richards look and she's the perfect look for that character. And I'm glad you like the other girl character look too :). I agree, he really would! Poor little kid :(
DeleteWell, glad I'm not the only one who'd base the main's appearance on myself. ;)
ReplyDeleteBen Barnes as the main's older brother? *dies*
The southeast Asian guy looks mixed with Taiwan/Chinese, but it's pretty common here (half of my friends have Chinese ancestors), so it's fine. :) Thanks for including our sub-race, btw.
Glad I'm not the only one either ;).
DeleteYes, he would be my older brother! XD I agree, I think he'd be great! :)
Sorry for not finding a more accurate picture- I looked, but I couldn't find anything closer in the age bracket/look I had in mind. Okay, glad it still looks all right :)
You're welcome! :)
Cool! You can never go wrong with Tom Hiddleston. :) I love all of the siblings in the movie. I always like seeing siblings in fiction, whether they are fighting each other, which makes for effective conflict, or working together. :)
ReplyDelete@Covert Knight: That is a picture of famous martial artist Bruce Lee, and good call, he is, in fact, Chinese.

P.S. Anyone like Liam Neeson would be an awesome pick as well. He is freaking awesome! :D

Oh God, I have seen too much of The Raid to even recognize Bruce Lee....
DeleteNo wonder why I felt like I've seen him before.
Thank you! :D Definitely, he's one of the best! :D Thank you- same here! They are a really important part of the series; plus, I like to show other relationships besides just romantic like a lot of stories do(like having a focus on friends and family). And definitely, I love seeing all of those different kinds of conflict/working together storylines.
DeleteYou're right, that is Bruce Lee. I remembered seeing him a trailer and thought he had a similar look to the character, so I went and found a picture.
And thanks! Liam Nesson is definitely a perfect pick for the character! :D
That's awesome, Maegen! I love that the villains are a brother-sister team, and that they have a complicated family situation since their older sister is on the opposite side. And how can you beat Tom Hiddleston, Karen Gillan, and Ben Barnes? =D It looks like an awesome series, and I can't wait to read it. =)

Thank you! :D Glad you like the idea of the villains and their family situation- it's definitely been fun to write. You definitely can't beat them, can you? They're awesome! :) Thank you, I hope you enjoy it!! :D
DeleteI've read two of the Penderwick books.
