Happy 21st Birthday to Me :)
Photo made by my friend, Arda :)
So today I turned 21. While I had classes and rehearsal (which was FUN :D ), it was still a fun day and I got to do things I was wanting to do. Also, now I can legally drink, so I got a strawberry daiquiri and drank a little of the wine I had gotten while on vacation over the summer. Both were very good :) I also bought some Rum (WHY IS THE RUM GONE?) to make daiquiris at a later date :)

30 Day Dean Winchester Challenge
Created by http://lovethediseasedkillerpuppy.tumblr.com/
Day:
2: Favorite episode: Alpha and Omega, Dead in the Water, Fanfiction, Road Trip, Faith, Houses of the Holy, The Born Again Identity, Baby, Phantom Traveler, Exile on Main St., Two And A Half Man, The Man Who Would Be King, Goodbye Stranger, Dream A Little Dream of Me, What Is And What Should Never Be, etc.
2: Favorite season: Season 11, Season 6, Season 9, and Season 2
2.2 Favorite ‘fanboy’ moment: His crush on Gunner Lawless was adorable and I love when he gets excited about various fandom things, like cowboys, Vonnegut, and sci-fi movies.
fanart found on tumblr (not mine)
4: Escape: I like the one where he's captured by the police (in season 10) and knocks over the can of pens/pencils. The stupid officer falls for it (like, seriously, I knew what he was doing :P) and Dean grapples him with his legs and escapes (that was sooo dumb).
5: Favorite Kill: When he stabbed Zachariah in the FACE and when he shot Azazel and when he killed the Wendigo (and many others, because he's badass :D).
6: Most surprising reveal/admission: I kinda already knew the big reveals XD Oops
7: Weapon: That blade he had in Purgatory
8: Piece of clothing: There are several.
9: Physical trait: His face and his shoulders
10: Personality trait: Nurturing, kindness, and how he connects to those most people in society deem as lesser.
11: Bad ass scene: There's a lot. In all honesty, I found him taking the peaceful way out to be badass in "Alpha and Omega". But of course, his fights are always badass :) (I LOVE LOVE LOVE a good fight scene). The part where he's taking on all those demons at Cain's house was cool (especially when he threw the dish cloth and the plate at one- I love when fighters use creative things like that), as was when he slaughtered all those vampires when he'd been turned (oh, and not drinking the blood when it was right there in his face, even though he was a newly turned vampire). OH, and when the Stynes had his all tied up and he burst free and killed them all (they were bad, so I don't care). Also, I'm glad he killed all of those rapists in season 10 with the help of the Mark. That was good.
And, of course, this episode in season 8 :)
12: Best decision
13: Describe him in one word:
14: Lame joke:
12: Best decision
How he handled this (as I mentioned in my review) issue at the end of last season- aka, dealing with Amara- was really the best way for him to go about it and he did it with maturity and bravery and strength and it goes to show to the few who still doubt him what a good man he is. He also took his power back from her, which I appreciated.
13: Describe him in one word:
Heroic
14: Lame joke:
I LIKE his jokes, personally, so I don't find any of them lame :P
15: Happy moment: I love all the happy moments he has with Castiel. I'm glad he has a person who brings him happiness :) (when it DOES occur, since their lives are sad :().
16: Favorite quote:
"We're family. We need you. I need you."
"Cas. We're shoving your ass through the eye of that needle, even if it kills all three of us"
"He zapped me here, yes, but he didn't want this. This wasn't his idea. You're family. He doesn't want you dead.
He doesn't want any of this!
.......Yeah, that's revenge. It'll get you out of bed in the morning, and when you get it, it feels great... for about five minutes. I've been there.Me and Sam—we have had our fair share of fights—more than our share—but no matter how bad it got, we always made it right because we're family. I need him. He needs me. And when everything goes to crap, that's all you've got—family. Now you might be a—an all-powerful being...but I think you're human where it counts. You simply need your brother
......You don't want to be alone. Not really. I mean, hell. Maybe that's why you wanted me. But deep down, you didn't really want me... 'cause I'm not him. So maybe I can kill you. Or maybe I can't. Maybe if I pull this trigger, we all live happily ever after, or maybe we die bloody, or maybe it doesn't matter, because maybe there's a different way. So I'm gonna ask you again. Put aside the rage. Put aside the hate. And you tell me...what do you want?"
17: Head canon
Sometimes he would almost apply for college but after Sam left, he gave up. But, once he got the bunker, he started looking into it again.
I definitely think he is bisexual (or at least biromantic) and has had crushes on people and characters like Han Solo, Dr. Sexy (because OBVIOUS), Gunner Lawless, young Obi-Wan, and now Castiel. However, unlike a lot of people, I don't think he's acted on his feelings for men yet. Also, I think he fell in love with Castiel during the time of season 7/season 8.
18: Moment of empathy: THERE ARE SO MANY! Dean is such a compassionate and caring person and he helps so many people and you can tell he very much does want to help others as much as he can.
Another one I like was when he saved the girl from being raped and instead of just chasing after the guy he made sure she was unharmed and that she had a phone on her to call for help. That was good. Most guys in fiction wouldn't have done that.
19: Moment of weakness
When he nearly says yes to Michael :(
20: Monologue
I know I already posted this, but this was one of his "big damn hero" moments and it's my favorite, so I'm posting it again.
"He zapped me here, yes, but he didn't want this. This wasn't his idea. You're family. He doesn't want you dead.

21: Most heart wrenching scene
Dean is Red Meat, being so desperate, made me cry :( It was really upsetting. Poor baby
Anytime he cries when losing someone :( (like when he lost Sam, Castiel, Bobby, Kevin, and Charlie :( That was sad :( ).
Telling Sam he remembers Hell :(
His face when his mom leaves :( My mom shall be his mom now.
22: Most underrated scene
I love the whole scene where he talks down Sam in season 7, reminding him of the wound on his hand and that he got out. Dean does some great stuff here and it hardly gets talked about.
I also really like it when he says the line "Cas...we're gonna shove your ass through the eye of that needle even if it kills all three of us." It's tough but caring, which I think is a good description of who Dean (to a degree, since he's very layered).
23: Most wanted to smack him upside the head
When he awkwardly flirts :p (okay, not really, but still, it's soooo awkward). I guess when he killed Amy Pond. Like, I get WHY he did, but I still don't know if it was the right decision (but then, so did he). I guess that he watches porn? Eh? (yeah, dude, don't watch thaaaattt :O ).
24: Physical tick/tendency: I like his flirty smile........:O O_O Mainly cause it kinda works....
25: Pop culture reference
I really like when he basically quoted "Lord of the Rings" to Sam's (the "I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you") and when he references Star Wars :) Oh, and when he mentions Katniss from "The Hunger Games."
26: Protective moment
I love it when he's protective of kids. The above one especially got to me the first time I watched the episode, since Dean was SO concerned about the baby and was the only one who seemed to really care about the his welfare.
27: Relationship
I adore his relationship with Castiel. It's warm, it's loving, it's subtle, and you can tell they really care about and love each other (even when they are angry with one another). They don't want to ever lose the other and I'm very glad that they have each other in their lives, because they really do need the other in many ways.
28: Silent monologue (When he shows a bunch of different emotions in a short time while not saying a word):
There are many. One particularly painful one is where he tries to fake smile when told that's how he can get through the day when he's really depressed in season 7. Also, just recently, the one where he showed how upset he was with his mom without saying a word (like when he wouldn't hug her and backed up, looking down and just staring in silence after she'd left).
Oh, and the glances he has with Cas that speak volumes. They really can communicate with just a look.
