I had done something similar on my fanfiction account and when I saw Satine from A Jedi Knight...Or Soon Will be and Kayla from Jedi Filmmaker, I thought I'd do it as well.

Obi-Wan Kenobi, of course. :) He's such a well done, developed character, one I can relate to very easily, he's a very kind, calm individual, and he's just plan awesome!! :D :D :D


2. Your favorite sith.

Darth Vader. He's a great character and in the end, makes the right choice and becomes a Jedi again :).


3. Your favorite bounty hunter.

Boba Fett, I guess. Bounty Hunters have never been my thing in the SW universe.




4. Your favorite moment to mock.

When Obi-Wan and Anakin are in the speeder chase and are making funny verbal jabs at each other. XD


5. Your favorite pirate.
Hondo, I guess. I don't like pirates, though, since they are criminals.

6. Your favorite senator.

Padme Amidala, Bail Organa, and Riyo Chuchi are the best!! :D I also like Mon Mothma.


7. Your favorite creature.

Boga, I guess

8. Your favorite movie.

Revenge of the Sith is my absolute, hands down, favorite movie of the saga and in general. My second favorite Star Wars film is Return of the Jedi, closely followed by The Phantom Menace.

The EU rules!! Siri Tachi!!! :D :D She is so cool! :D She's my second favorite character after Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars overall.

Obi-Wan Kenobi and Siri Tachi; you're looking at their number 1 shipper(well, one of them, anyway XD). I just love how it all works and much it makes sense; I didn't think the idea would work until I read "Secrets of the Jedi" back when I was eleven. It is my favorite shipping pair ever and I wish there could be more books written with these two characters :).


18. Your favorite scene.

The entire Duel on Mustafar sequence, especially the end with the dialogue; it's a very powerful, sad scene and I love how it was written and acted out. I also like the Duel on Naboo, especially when Obi-Wan kills Darth Maul, and when Vader returns to the light side and restores balance and peace to the Force and to the galaxy; I also love anything with Obi-Wan and Anakin, or Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon, or Obi-Wan and Siri, they're the best. :)

Obi-Wan and Anakin on Mustafar(Obi-Wan looses his brother, friend, and son :(), when Qui-Gon dies, Order 66, the entire second half of Revenge of the Sith, when Siri dies, and when Tahl dies.

27. Most heroic moment.
When Vader becomes Anakin once more and defeats Palpatine and when Obi-Wan faced Darth Maul alone. I also love it when Obi-Wan jumped out that window in AotC.

28. Least favorite moment.
The romance scenes between Anakin/Padme and Han/Leia in the movies. :p
I also don't like some things that happened in The Clone Wars t.v series. Oh, and all tthe anti-Jedi slander in Karen Traviss's Star Wars books.

29. Funniest moment.
Obi-Wan and Anakin's banter XD. I also really like Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon's and Obi-Wan and Siri's banter as well. I also thought it was funny when in Jedi Quest, Obi-Wan and Siri had to dress up in silly clothing and they kept taking jabs at each other.

Top Ten Movie Heroes

Kayla at Jedi Filmaker and James at JandJ Productions did this challenge on their blogs and I thought it looked like fun so I thought I'd give it a try. I'll do my Top Ten Movie Heroes now, then I'll do my Top Ten Heroines and ten top villains later this week. :) I few will be from t.v shows instead of movies but they are so cool I had to add them :)












My top hero would be, of course, the great Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi. I have a lot of reasons to why I like him,
First off is his character or in other words, personality. In my opinion, he IS the ultimate Jedi; he followed the Code, had great compassion, and was able control his emotions but still feels(I think he felt very deeply, that was why he had to have such control over himself, so that he could do his duty as a Jedi). He also embodied the virtues of the Old Order - steadfastness, selflessness, and modesty. He is a very strong person(mentally and physically) and is able to deal with loads and loads of pain and guilt that no one should have to bear; yet he always stays true to the light side of the Force. He, of course, has his flaws, but on the whole I find him to be one of the strongest, kindest, most loyal, people out there.
He was also a very powerful Jedi- he defeated a Sith as a Padawan learner, resisted a mind wipe at the age of thirteen by building barriers around his mind with the Force(something only a Jedi Master should be able to do), he defeated Grievous, and he defeated The Chosen One in his prime. His lightsaber skills are amazing to watch and I love his form which is called Soresu.
Another thing I love about Obi-Wan are his relationships with different characters. His relationships with others are one of my favorites things about Star Wars, they're so complex, loving, and heart-breaking.
My favorites are: His relationship with Anakin which I see as a triple bond- that of a father and son, that of best friends, and that of brothers. It's a very strong relationship, and it is so tragic when it ends. :( His relationship with Qui-Gon which is that of a father and son. I love it how close they are. They really got along well and it's very sad when Qui-Gon died. :( And his relationship with Siri is one of the only romances I actually like(I'm not that big of a fan of romance). It's interesting, realistic, and very sweet. I love them together. For me, that is the only pairing for Obi-Wan I believe is canon.
He is also very handsome. Sorry for rambling I just really like him.




My second favorite hero is Luke Skywalker, son of the fallen Chosen, savior of the Rebellion, the Republic, and the Jedi Order. I like Luke for many reasons; he's easy to relate to, he's got such a forgiving soul, had a pure heart, and he was a Jedi to the bone. He was able to withstand the temptation to turn to the darkside and saved his father from the dark side and thus helped save the galaxy. He also helped rebuild the Republic and brought the Jedi Order back. He was a great man as well as a great Jedi. I absolutely loved his scene at the end with Vader; that whole section at the end makes ROTJ my second favorite Star Wars film. Plus he looks really cool in his black jumpsuit and X-Wing jumpsuit(I need to make cosplay costumes for those outfits someday).





Next on my list is Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, Master to Obi-Wan and finder of The Chosen One. He was a very calm, very powerful Jedi who had the courage to stick to what he thought and had the loyalty to remain in the Jedi Order; unlike some other maverick Jedi, he remained deeply rooted in his Jedi upbringing, even if he disagreed with the Council on some matters. I really see him one of the best Jedi ever and he was a very brave, very good man. :)





My next choice is Anakin Skywalker. Yes, he goes evil, but before that he was definitely a hero. Remember that quote from The Dark Knight about dying a hero or living long enough to see yourself become the villain; that kind of reminds me of Anakin a little bit. I thought that Anakin was a very brave, very caring person who had some major issues that were never worked through like they should have been.
Another reason he is on my list is that I can relate to him and I find his character very interesting and very tragic. :(




Samwise, or Sam, Gamgee - the most brave, loyal character in the entire LOTR epic. He stayed with Frodo until the end, was brave and strong even when he felt he couldn't, and was one of the few with the metal strength to give up the ring. He was also very smart, resourceful, and caring. And his friendship and dedication to Frodo was very powerful; who can forget when he carried Frodo up the Volcano to the very maw of Mount Doom? He was definitely one of the biggest heroes in LOTR.




Frodo Baggins, the main protagonist of LOTR and a very brave, resilient man/Hobbit.
He had to carry the burden of the Ring and continued on even when all hope seemed lost. He was very brave in that he was willing to forgo everything in his life to destroy the Ring and save the world.




Harry Potter. Harry is definitely a very brave, compassionate, and selfless person. Even at a young age, he was willing to risk his life for others. Even with his great heroics, he was still a tween/teen aged boy and that's what makes him so great. I like how realistic he is, and how, even though he had problems, and sometimes uncontrollable emotions, he's able to brave it out and comes through at the end a man who never lost his goodness or his goal.




The character of Angel is from the television series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and its spin-off "Angel." Angel is such good character on those shows! He is a vampire who is good, though the reasoning behind why he is good is a very cool, well thought out one and it makes complete sense. He is a good, compassionate person and a heck of a fighter; especially on his show. I like his personality, his humor, and his selflessness. He sticks to his morals and genuinely wants to help those in need.
Oh and I love his line "Can you fly?" in the first "Angel" episode; hehehehehe >:)




Another hero I really like is Avatar Aang from the t.v series "Avatar: The Last Airbender." He is a very compelling character who grows much over the course of his story and grows into a mature, though still child-like, very powerful bender. His fighting style is very cool, especially once he's learned all four elements. I also really like his character and like his desire to refrain from killing at all costs. Warning, the next one will give some minor spoilers for the t.v series.


Zuko is also a character from Avatar: The Last Airbender. He starts out as an antagonist to the heroes but he has a good side and is definitely not an evil individual. His growth over the show was awesome to behold and I loved watching him grow as a character. He's amazing in season 3 and his fighting is great, especially in the third season finale.

The Phantom Menace in 3D

Sorry that this is late, but here it is now.

On Friday, I went to the 4:00 showing of "The Phantom Menace" with my parents and younger sister and brother. I dressed up in my Jedi cloak and tunic and made a small Padawan braid in my hair(I was Obi-Wan Kenobi).
It was really a cool experience since I'd never seen a Star Wars film in theaters(by the time I'd gotten into it, ROTS had left theaters :( ) AND I got to see it in 3D! :D
The Phantom Menace is probably my third favorite Star Wars film(after ROTS and ROTJ) so I was especially excited to see it. And it didn't disappoint. I really enjoyed getting to see Obi-Wan on the big screen as WELL as the lightsaber duel at the end.
The acting, while regarded by some as wooden, is actually quite good. Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman, Pernilla August and Jake Lloyd all do well on their roles in this film and I liked getting to look for the things I'd missed when I'd watched the films at home.
Oh and getting to see the words "Star Wars" and "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away" was just awesome! :D

"Crisis on Naboo" review

WARNING: This episode contains spoilers from "Crisis on Naboo"
Last night's episode was really awesome!!!! Obi-Wan was awesome(as always) and Anakin and Mace were great as well.
The episode revolves around the Separatist's plan to capture the Chancellor and the Jedi's attempt to stop it from happening. Obi-Wan is still undercover and whose 'job' in the Separatist plot is to hit Palpatine with a knock-out sniper blast(which he doesn't do, haha).
Who will succeed in their plans- the Republic or the Separatists?



The Good: The episode had a lot of really good moments and I was really happy to see more of Obi-Wan being plain awesome- he hasn't done much in the show so getting to see him in a leading role was just epic!
One of my favorites scenes in the episode was his fight against Bane and Eval; he totally kicked their butts(and he was WEAPONLESS)! At first I was worried he wasn't going to win(since he got thrown) but I needn't have been since Obi-Wan rocked the fight yet again :D. I loved how he dodged the blaster bolts that Bane shot at him and how he grabbed onto Bane's ankles after he'd used his feet-jet packs to fly into the air. Which leads to my favorite part of the duel; when Obi-Wan drags Bane back to the ground and flings him into Eval and pulls a blaster on them to keep them from running off. HA- take THAT Bane!!! I've been wanting to see that ever since Bane electrocuted him in "The Hunt for Ziro." Go Obi-Wan!!! :D
I also liked the part where Anakin and Mace show up after he beat Bane and Eval and Bane finds out that Hardeen is actually Obi-Wan- their dialogue was quite funny :). I liked Obi-Wan's smile when Mace called him "Obi-Wan". I bet he was glad to finally be going by his actual name(which reminded me of him not going by his actual name while in exile). I really enjoyed Mace and Obi-Wan's friendship here; it sort of reminded me of the bond between Master and Padawan(with Mace being the Master)since Mace's response to Obi-Wan's "I hope it was worth it" made me think of Qui-Gon. I really liked it when Obi-Wan called Mace his friend and when Mace showed a great deal of joy to find that Obi-Wan was alive(yes, Mace is showing emotions on the Clone Wars!!!). I also enjoyed the scene where Obi-Wan was looking the holo-projection and was beginning to suspect that something was wrong.
The whole climax at the end was great. I loved it when Obi-Wan found the bug in his sniper case and realized that it was a trap. Anakin's duel with Dooku was quite cool; definitely the best Anakin-Dooku duel in TCW so far. I loved how it was in a dining hall and how Dooku used the Force to throw things at Anakin such as chairs. I felt bad for Anakin when he got two forks stuck in his arm, that has to HURT! I was just confused on why there wasn't any blood when he pulled them out but I guess they can't get too gory on a show aimed for kids.
I REALLY loved it when Obi-Wan ran really quickly to Anakin's aid and that, when he found Anakin crouched on the ground the first thing he asked was- "Are you all right?". I loved it when the two of them went after Dooku(who had the Chancellor) and while Anakin quickly exchanged lightsaber blows with his nemisis, Obi-Wan easily defeated the magna guard and got the Chancellor to safety. I was really excited to see Obi-Wan get his lightsaber back and get to use it since it has been a long time since he's used it at all(actually, he's barely used it all season...wow). I appreciated Dooku's line about Obi-Wan being a worthy opponent; you can tell that even though he doesn't like him, he at least respects him(which was nice since we see this in the ROTS novel). Also, Palpatine's line about there being no Jedi was quite creepy and had quite a lot of foreshadowing.
Obi-Wan and Anakin conversation earlier in the episode was good too; the emotion was very well done and I loved the actors chemistry. The dialogue was good too and we're definitely getting to see that Anakin is starting to distrust the Council. It kind of bothered me that it was Obi-Wan's decision to not tell Anakin even though I do understand why he did it and you can tell he really regrets the decision(it's been quite evident throughout the arc). And he DID tell Anakin that it was his decision instead of just letting Anakin blame the Council which took a lot of guts.
And on a final note, I really liked it when Obi-Wan shot Derrowyn's jet pack after the Bounty Hunter had shocked Anakin into semi-unconsciousness. I bet he didn't like that happening to his best friend. I also appreciated seeing Mace's concern for Anakin and the Chancellor; he sort of reminded me of Matthew Stover's Mace Windu.



The Bad: I don't have that much to complain about in this episode but there is one thing that sort of bothered me. I was really hoping to see some Obi-Wan and Anakin interactions in this episode(since I really love watching their friendship). It was in there but not enough for me. I really felt like they needed more since the two need to start growing back together(I knew it wouldn't happen over night but I was kind of hoping they could talk about it at the end). Though hopefully they show will show us this and not just continue on as if nothing even happened.

Overall, Crisis on Naboo was a worthy finale to this amazing arc. It was great to see Obi-Wan be his awesome self and be the star of the show since he was absent earlier this season. Even though there wasn't enough Obi-Wan/Anakin stuff, they did all right with that with the time they had and I'm looking forward to seeing them grow back together again. I'm also looking forward to seeing my Obi-Wan back; I've really missed seeing him as his normal self. I felt bad for the Jedi since they are going to all these links to keep the Chancellor safe and the little Sith Punk betrays them >:(

I'm not really looking forward to the next episode(s) since they will be about 'the return of Darth Maul' which I really don't like the idea of. Hopefully we'll get to see more of Obi-Wan since he has yet to appear in a finale(and if Maul HAS to return, Obi-Wan should be there). And hopefully we get to see more Obi-Wan and Anakin :)
So glad they did this arc since I'd been wanting to see something all about my favorite character and I have to say, they delivered it very well.
