1: Dean or Sam?:

Dean has always been my favorite from day 1 :) I do like Sam, but Dean is just one of my most favorite characters ever. 

2: Favorite episode

My top two are "The Man Who Would Be King" and "Alpha and Omega". The first cause it's such a beautiful tragedy, with amazing writing and good character studies (and heartbreaking Destiel). The second cause it's a beautiful mix of the culmination of the Faith arc and Dean's great heroic moment.

It's a toss up between seasons 5 and 11. :) Those just..were very powerful <3 nbsp="" p="">
4: Favorite male character (besides Dean or Sam)

Castiel, obviously, my second favorite character after Dean :) He's just an awesome character and I love him so much :) 

I also love Bobby, Kevin, Garth, Benny, Chuck/God, 

5: Favorite female character

Jo Harvelle :) She's just a badass and I loved her the moment she appeared.

6: Favorite SPN actor/actress

Jensen Ackles is my favorite :)

7: Favorite Angel (besides Castiel)

I will always like Hannah. I enjoyed her journey in season 10 and I liked how we saw Hannah later in a male vessel and nothing between the character and Castiel changed. 

8: Least favorite character

Well, even though they served a purpose and important ones at that, I dislike Alistair and Amara and Zachariah as individuals.


9: Favorite overall villain

Like most everyone else, I am getting a bit tired of Lucifer, but originally he was an AWESOME villain. I particularly enjoyed seeing Misha play him. 

10: Favorite Misha character

I like Misha best when he is playing Castiel but I also enjoyed his Emmanuel, Jimmy Novak, and Lucifer.

11; Favorite character introduction

Dean's, cause the moment he came on screen, I was 'he's my favorite!' 

12: Scariest episode

Bloody Mary scared me a bit when I first watched it, but that was probably because I was home alone or the first time ever and it was dark and night.

13:  Favorite Bobby scene

When he confronts his abusive father and tells him to go to hell and comforts his childhood self. Such a powerful moment. Especially when he says how Dean and Sam grew up to be heroes and how he is proud of them.

14: Ruby 1.0 or 2.0

I love both but I just really liked Ruby 1.0. She was badass.

15: Episode that makes you cry

"Red Meat" in season 11 made me cry. Poor Dean was just so distraught :'(

16: Favorite demon

Meg! :) She was a cool villain and I liked how she started coming over to the good side. Also, her crush on Cas was kinda sweet. 

17: Favorite SPN ship

DESTIEL

They just really work and I think they would make each other happy. Also, it makes for an excellent love story. Like, the author's were given something special, they should use it.

I also ship Eileen and Sam.

18: Favorite ghost/monster

The ghost in Roadkill.

19: Favorite gag reel moment

It's from season 9 and it's when Jared is laying in the bed and comes up and is "wahhhh!! I'm not dead!" and Jensen is just so done XD

Also, when Jensen is being Demon-Dean and Jared screams and Jensen is making weird faces and fake crying/mocking noises XD

20: Favorite crying/sad scene

Basically any scene with these two that has emotions. They just have such good stories between them and a good connection, that when something threatens it, it is heartbreaking. 

21: favorite sex scene

Eh, not really a big fan of them? I guess the Dean and Cassie one and the Dean and Lydia one.

22: Least favorite episode and season

Least favorite episode is "Dog Dean Afternoon" cause it is creepy. My least favorite season was season 4 for some personal reasons,  but I rewatched it and I loved it, so? I don't know, I like them all.

23: Favorite Winchester family member (besides Dean and Sam)

Henry Winchester :)

He seemed like a decent guy. I used to like Mary but- while I still like her as a character- I don't view her as a good person. 

24: Funniest episode

Mystery Spot, Hell House, The French Mistake, etc.

25: Favorite season premiere

Either "In My Time of Dying", "Lazarus Rising", or "I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here" or "Exile on Main St"



26: Character you'd most like to see return

Eileen and Charlie and Kevin and Chuck.

His whole conversation with Amara was very powerful

Star Wars Challenge Day 30

Today is Day 30! AHHHHH!! Well, today's topic is:

"WHY YOU LOVE STAR WARS!"

There are a lot of reasons I love Star Wars; here they are-

1 I LOVE the plot- the story is just SO well done!!!! It's a story of redemption, betrayal, love, war, loss, coming of age, loss of innocence, and tragedy. On the surface, it may just seem like a typical good vs. evil; and it is, but there is more to it. There are many layers- the Jedi are good and Sith are evil but at times it is hard for our characters to decide which is right. Some make the right choices, some make the wrong ones, and some just keep going, hoping that they are doing it right. But really, the story is about redemption and how sometimes you can bring people back from the abyss and into the light. Plus, it is a joy to watch the films :).

2 The emotion- the story is very emotional, when you really think about it- Obi-Wan looses his Master, Siri, his whole Order, and his best friend turns to the darkside. Anakin looses his mother, he is pulled in so many different directions that he becomes overwhelmed, his inadvertently causes his wife to die, looses his best friend, and becomes evil. Luke looses his aunt and uncle, looses his mentors Obi-Wan and Yoda, and finds out that Darth Vader is his father. But there is joy as well- as we see Luke restore peace to the galaxy by turning his father back to the light.

3 The morals- the story, our heroes, and the Jedi all have good morals and messages that give the story even more meaning. It shows us the importance of duty, forgiveness, kindness, compassion, inner calm, friendship, family, strength, bravery, selflessness, and honor.

4 The characters. Star Wars definitely some amazing, layered characters. None are as they appear on the surface, and we can identify with the majority of them; I know I do. Like Obi-Wan I know what it's like to loose a friend, we both get anxious and worry, we both find it hard to express love for others, and we both can be a little stiff. Like Anakin I know what it's like to get angry, to hate, and like him, I wish I could control my emotions. Like Siri I am impatient and tomboyish, and we're pretty close in personality. And like Luke I know the feeling of wanting to get out and do something. The characters in Star Wars are also human and have flaws but most of them genuinely want to do right; which is something that is great to see since most of the time characters aren't like that- it's a nice balance between black/white and shades of gray.

5 The relationships. I love the relationships in Star Wars! There is Obi-Wan's and Anakin's(father and son, brothers, and best friends), Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan(father and son), Obi-Wan and Luke(father and son), Darth Vader and Luke(father and son), Obi-Wan and Siri, Anakin and Padme, Han and Luke(best friends), Han and Leia.....I could go on and on. Some of the relationships end in joy, some in tragedy, and some in both.

6 The EU. One of the great things about Star Wars is the fact that it has such a large universe to explore. I haven't even gotten through it all yet! Besides the six movies we can read the many Star Wars books, watch Star Wars: Clone Wars and Star Wars: The Clone Wars, we can read the comics and reference books, and we can play the video

games. The Star Wars EU has released some of my favorite stories and through it we get to learn more about our favorite characters from the films and see the story play out from their perspective. I am so glad to have found the EU(especially the books) since it has made my enjoyment of Star Wars even greater.

7 The Lightsaber duels and The Force. I love watching the fight scenes in Star Wars!!! I've always thought they were cool. Actually, ever since I watched Star Wars, I've wished I could have a lightsaber and use the Force. It's so awesome to watch

the Jedi go all out on the Sith/droids/whatever and win! I especially love watching Obi-Wan, Anakin, Qui-Gon, Mace Windu, and Yoda's lightsaber forms(which I love reading about); they are all very skilled duelists. I just love watching how amazing the Jedi are with their lightsabers and the Force. I also love the Force; it's mysticism, it's power, it's dual personality, and the study surrounding it.

8 The Jedi Order. I love the Jedi! Their Code, their way of life, their Temple, their duty- it's amazing. They try to do what's right, they save the day, they don't crave power, they don't have greed, jealousy or selfishness. Oh and there is no romance!(mwhahaha!)

Plus, my favorite characters are Jedi and I wish I could be trained as one. :). Also, they are for the most part, good. They have no selfish motives and help because it is right which is nice to see in a world where greed is the reason for so many problems in our world.

9 Obi-Wan Kenobi!!! He's my favorite character and I really find his story tragic, yet uplifting. He was able to pick himself up after loosing pretty much EVERYTHING and keep on going. He did his duty to the end and was selfless. I find him very relate-able and a good role model.

Also, I love the huge number of Star Wars fans that I get to converse with online.

I have a fanfiction account, I own several fan pages and belong to many more, and I'm on "The Lake House Forum." I love getting to talk Star Wars with people just has obsessed as me and having discussions about what our favorite parts of the story are. And isn't the music just so beautiful? :)

Star Wars Challenge Day 12

"All Time Favorite Scene"

They're are many amazing scenes in the Saga but there is one that really stands out for me.

Okay, here goes.

So, my favorite all time scene is the end of the Battle of Mustafar.

It's dark, it has emotion, and is the end of everything for both characters.

The scene is my favorite because of the lines exchanged- the best lines I have come across period; the acting is so good, it seems like it is actually happening; you can see the pain on both their faces as the battle comes to it's close and we, the audience, know that there is no going back(for a long, long, time, anyways).

I'm going to discuss the whole scene from beginning to end and give my thoughts on everything that takes place.

Once Obi-Wan flips onto the lava bank, he knows what coming; he will soon have to deal the killing blow- and it's something he does NOT want to do. He tells Anakin that it is over, that he has the high ground and that he should surrender. Of course, Anakin doesn't listen; he's too full of hatred and anger to see clearly and he responds as such- saying that Obi-Wan underestimates him. Obi-Wan than tries one last time to get Anakin stop and see reason- to not take that leap of rage that will make Obi-Wan do what he has to do. But Anakin jumps anyway; because he thinks he can, because he thinks he is unbeatable now, and because he thinks everyone has betrayed him. But what he doesn't realize is that he has betrayed himself- to the darkside. And with a crazed, fury-filled, extremely powerful Sith Lord leaping at him with a lightsaber prepared to kill, Obi-Wan swings and performs a Mou kei on his one-time apprentice. When Anakin falls to the ground, Obi-Wan looks shocked and numb for a moment while deactivating his lightsaber and putting it on his belt. Then emotion explodes in him and we see how heart broken he truly is- "You were the chosen one! It was said you would destroy the Sith, not join them! Bring balance to the Force, not leave it in darkness!" When he says this, he is expressing all the emotions in him- horror, grief, and defeat. Everything has fallen around him and he tries to address his regret at what has transpired. He wishes that Anakin hadn't turned- he wishes that the Sith were gone; but instead he is one of the last Jedi in a galaxy strangled by evil. He starts to leave, weeping, taking his fallen friend's lightsaber, when Anakin, who has started to burn, screams out "I HATE YOU!" This really hurts Obi-Wan and he turns back around and only says tearfully, "You were my brother, Anakin. I loved you." He didn't say "I hate you too!" or ignore it, he said that he loved his dead friend, Anakin. I really find this poignant since "I love you" is something Obi-Wan doesn't go around saying; in truth, I believe this is the only time he ever says it out-loud to anyone. To me, Obi-Wan seems the type who finds it hard to express the feeling love- he feels it like everyone else but, like me, doesn't know quite how to put it into words. This is one of the reasons I am able to identify with him.

Also, he never got to tell this to anyone he cared about as they died; he wasn't able to tell his Master, he wasn't able to tell Siri, he wasn't able to tell all his friends who were murdered in Order 66, and he wasn't able to tell Anakin before his turn. So he says it now, wishing he had said it sooner, wishing that none of this had happened as he walks away, crying, leaving Darth Vader because he does not want to kill and unarmed being.

This is a very powerful scene, and seeing Obi-Wan so heartbroken is greatly saddening. We can see here that he is human- a great Jedi.....but only human who can be hurt just like everybody else.

And as he walks away, we see the weight that now rests on his shoulders- the weight of guilt he feels for everything that has transpired.

Star Wars Challenge Day 11

Today it's all about battles!

So here goes- my Favorite Battle

Well, I like all of them since the battles are awesome to watch. Especially the lightsaber duels!

Okay, so here are my top two favorites.

I really love the above picture. Found it last night.

The Battle of Mustafar, or the duel between Obi-Wan and Anakin/Vader, is my favorite; mainly because it is so heartbreaking and well done. Ewan and Hayden both did well in this duel- with BOTH emotion and choreography. You can see the panic, pain, and desperation on Obi-Wan's face and the pure rage/hatred on Anakin's. The choreography in itself is amazing since the actors were actually doing the fighting at the speed that it is shown(they were a couple of times where single frames were removed to increase the velocity of certain strikes). We also get to see Obi-Wan's mastery of Soresu and Anakin's of Shien which is pretty cool to see. Also, the emotional battle leads to my favorite scene in the Saga(the dialogue exchanged between Obi-Wan and Anakin). Also, the duel is the most intense, and emotional in the Saga(the second most being the one in Return of the Jedi). Oh, and some of the maneuvers used in the duel are just plain AWESOME- like when they swung from the ropes and landed on small floating bits of metal below.

My second Battle of the Saga is the one that takes place on Naboo in The Phantom Menace, especially the duel between the Jedi and the Sith. It is a quick paced duel, with lots of acrobatics and nice lightsaber moves. It is also heartbreaking since the great Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn is run through by the fiendish Darth Maul while Obi-Wan has to look on helplessly(I was just thinking how that would feel. It would be AWFUL! Poor Obi-Wan :( ).

My favorite part of the duel is when Obi-Wan duels Darth Maul alone. Before it seemed that it would have to take the combined efforts of the two Jedi but when you see him go all out on Maul, you can see how good of a duelist he is; his lightsaber moves are awesome and when he is kicked in the face he flips it out and keeps on. Sadly, however, he was utilizing his anger and Darth Maul pushed him into the pit and he had to grab onto the nozzle. Then, he was able to calm himself, spring up, call his Master's lightsaber to him, and Sai tok(slice in half) the detestable Sith. Another reason I this duel is because it made Obi-Wan the first Jedi to kill a Sith Lord in over a thousand years(which is so AWESOME!)

Is it just me, or does Obi-Wan looks a little......scared here? I don't blame him- he's only a Padawan after all and the Sith are known to be extremely dangerous and haven't been seen in over a thousand years.
